Welcome to my page for my Human Development class!
Throughout this website you will discover different aspects of Human Development, more specifically as it applies to students. To summarize briefly, I will be discussing different theorists and how they have impacted the study of development, as well as the beginning of development, physical development, cognitive development, language development, and psychosocial development. Each of the the types of development listed above is broken down to into different age groups to help the reader better understand the level of development in more depth. Because this class is geared toward education majors, most of the information will be discussed with examples of how it may relate to students and educators. Use the links to the different tabs above to easily navigate the site and learn about the different subsections of the human development. I am a very visual learner, a love seeing examples of what I am reading about. That being said, throughout my website presentation you will see many pictures and videos to help you get a better understanding of what you are reading about.
Who I am: I am an elementary education student with a concentration in mathematics and a love for helping children reach their fullest potential in every possible aspect.
Why This is Personally Important to Me: I believe it is important to understand the roots of every child in order to teach them correctly. By studying all the different ways a person grows, you can form more individualize lessons and activities to bring out the best in every student.
